About Mike Holmes
I am an amateur photographer. I received my first serious camera as a birthday present from my late Grandfather, Ernest Holmes, for my 12th birthday. Over the years, I have experimented with different types of photography including aerial photography, video production and most recently, Astrophotography.
I built my first astrophotography rig in March 2019. That was the start of my entry into photographing the heavens. My primary target interest is deep space photography of Nebulae.
Almost all of the astro photos in my portfolio were taken from my backyard in Bryan, Texas.
